On Board PR - most awarded Polish agency

International Golden Drum Award 2009

On Board PR became the most awarded PR agency from Poland at the international Golden Drum Awards 2009 festival. Two projects of On Board PR were awarded by the jury.

Jury of the international Golden Drum 2009 festival awarded two Public Relations projects conducted by On Board PR (www.onboard.pl). In this manner On Board PR  became the only company from Poland, which gained two statues in the PR group. Awarded projects are: international campaign “Fight for security” and interactive project “Mate From The Past – 1944 Live”. The first one gained Silver Drum in PR group, category Public Affairs. The second one also in the PR group, category Engagement & Participation. Award ceremony took place during the festival Gala in Portoro|, in Slowenia.
 

Campaign “Fight for security” was carried out for NSZZ Solidarnosc. The aim of the project was to improve working conditions in the security sector, educate employees and convince employers about the necessity of improving the working conditions of security workers.
“Mate From The Past” (www.matefromthepast.pl) is a project initiated by San Markos advertising agency (www.sanmarkos.pl), conducted in cooperation with On Board PR and Promotion Department of the City of Warsaw. The project was inspired by the 65 th. anniversary of the outburst of the Warsaw Uprising. Profiles of two young people – “Sosna” and “Kostek” , fictional insurgents were created on Facebook – social networking website. Updated constantly over 63 days, created a private chronicle of the Warsaw Uprising seen with the eyes of two, young people.
 

Golden Drum (www.goldendrum.com) is one of the most prestigious international festivals for advertising and PR awarding the best advertising campaigns in the world. Awards granted by the festival jury are: Golden Drum Grand Prix, Golden Drum, Silver Drum.
