ECCO Network awarded with two titles ‘Agency of the Year’ and three European Excellence awards
London, 16th February – ECCO, one of the leading networks of independently owned and operated PR and marketing communications consultancies, has won three European Excellence awards.
The European Excellence Awards honour the outstanding performance of European PR campaigns in a wide variety of categories. The gala ceremony, which took place on December 8th in Prague honours the winners chosen by an expert jury from 500 entries from all over Europe.
Marco de Comunicación (MdC), the most awarded Spanish PR agency for the 6th consecutive year won the European Excellence Award in the category relaunch with their campaign for Artiach (Panrico Group) :
“Return to Tradition”, the public relations campaign developed by Marco de Comunicación for Artiach won an award in the Product Relaunch category. The judges have evaluated Marco de Comunicación´s exceptional work of introducing the new Artinata Artiach cookies, reinforcing the brand´s values, and creating a new tie with consumers while at the same time achieving a 22% increase in sales.
The campaign was based on a 360º strategy that combined offline and online actions, including the realization of two roadshows in Bilbao and Madrid coinciding with the anniversary of Gran Vía.
Wellcom: received two awards successively: the European Excellence Award in the category “France” and the “Grand prix Stratégies des Relations Publiques” in the category “Consumer Service “. These awards were both delivered for the campaign “LetsBuyIt” : “The (second) best job in the world”. This campaign has greatly increased the visibility and traffic of the website.
Bex Communicatie won the European Excellence Award in the category of Change Communications for their campaign for KPN. Bex* challenged managers to translate and communicate the strategy as an exciting story. The programme results have been remarkable, both in terms of employee engagement with, and understanding of, the strategy – employee involvement increased by eight per cent. The project is one of the first examples of the lasting impact of storytelling in communicating a corporate vision and strategy whilst stimulating employee engagement and building staff commitment.
