More success at the Sabre Awards for ECCO

Following ECCO’s European Excellence awards announcement in February and with ECCO Netherlands and ECCO France both picking up Agency of the Year Awards, we’re delighted to announce that ECCO agencies in France (Wellcom), the Netherlands (Bex Communicatie), Poland (OnBoard PR) and Spain (Marco de Comunicacion) have all been nominated as finalists in this year’s SABRE Awards (May 18th, Prague). In addition, ECCO Spain has picked up a SABRE bronze award and three certificates for excellence and ECCO Netherlands a certificate of excellence for their own corporate social responsibility programme.

According to Holmes Report CEO and chairman of the SABRE judges Paul Holmes: “We received more entries this year than ever before, and the quality was the best we have ever seen, so this is the toughest SABRE competition ever, and all of the finalists should be extremely proud. In most categories there were two or three campaigns that would have won in previous years. The quality of creative thinking was extraordinarily high—big, bold ideas were much more common—and there was much more evidence that PR people are integrating digital and social media into their work.”
