After the success of the first edition, Barcelona StartupWeek wanted to go one step further with it’s communication and build a greater awareness amongst the general public and the entrepreneurial community about the event. Canela managed the media outreach as well as onsite press office and interviews during the event.
- Canela created a content calendar aimed at creating the maximum excitement prior, during and post the event. The strategy was effective and journalists followed the BCN Startup Week story from beginning to end.
- The official opening presentation was attended by major news agencies in the country, print media nationwide, radios such as RNE and several local TV stations as 8TV or BTV.
- Over 80 pieces of coverage were achieved in general and entrepreneur press.
